Ceylon Biscuits wins highest number of awards at SLIM Brand Excellence 2013

Once again Ceylon Biscuits Ltd (CBL) won the highest number of awards at the SLIM Brand Excellence awards 2013 concluded recently. In total, CBL brands were able to secure 13 awards which included 5 Gold, 6 Silver and 2 Bronze proving its superiority and excellence among over 120 brands which competed for Brand Excellence 2013.


The coveted brand of the year award was presented to CBL’s Lankasoy Brand. The brand altogether bagged 4 Golds at the SLIM Brand Excellence 2013. It won Gold for Product brand of the year, Local brand of the year and Innovative brand of the year. Lankasoy is a brand well known for revolutionising the Soy market in Sri Lanka having pioneered the introduction of Textured Soya Protein products to local consumers.
CBL’s flagship brand “Munchee” was once again recognised for its contribution to the community and the country’s economy. Munchee won Gold for CSR brand of the year and a Silver for Export brand of the year.
